I would like to give you several examples of what you can do with tables and layers, when you are creating a web page. I have had several requests on how to recreate my link ware sets, and it is always better to go back and learn the basics, but you can also learn from the code that I have used to create the sets. A lot of times, when I want to see how someone has done something that I particularly like on a web page, I go to "view/source" and go through the code to see how it is done. We can learn from one another, and as long as you do not use the code to link to someone's server, or take their personal information in the meta tags, you should be OK.
I am gong to show you a number of designs on this page, and if you click on the download button for each example, you will be able to download a Word document with the code, and I have highlighted each section in color to make it easier to see how I did it, and how to recreate it. Just save this to your hard drive or a floppy, and you will have it for future reference.
The first example is the page that you are seeing here. Simple, yet elegant design, with three small strips on either side of the body of text.
Five Layer Code.
This is a very basic code that will frame your page very nicely.

Very nice design, a variation of the strips again.
This give you an example of how just a slight variation can change the whole look of your page.

So far I have three examples on this page. I will be adding more as I get them done.
